YouTube In The Classroom

The first link I found to use in my physical education class is four goal soccer. The video would be very helpful because it gives the rules of the game and gives a quick demonstration of how the game is played.

The next video I found on You Tube to use in my PE class is a nutritional video on the food pyramid. It shows the recommended amount of servings and the food groups individuals need each day.

I also found a link on a dance that kids in a physical education class created. I think having the students come up with their own dance routine would be a great way to have the students work together and would be different side to physical education that most students wouldn't see. So I could show them this video on some dance moves and to have them get some ideas to use in their own routine.

The final link I found was demonstrating a lateral raise that you would perform if you are lifting with free weights. She describes the muscles that you would be using, how to perform the exercise, and what weight you would be using while lifting. Since a lot of PE classes are now using weight lifting as a class I feel I could show them this video on how to do this particular exercise.
